Two weeks ago, we introduced you to Julien, who was wrapping up his journey in our Hilo Tech bootcamp, an initiative we launched to train IT talent in our own way. An intensive, hands-on program and, above all, one that aligns with our culture.
Today, we’re talking about the bootcamp again, but this time through the journey of one of our pillars: William.
🎓 A McGill history graduate, William had enrolled in an IT program, ready to dive back into his studies. He was all signed up. But when it came time to start… he chose Hilo Tech.
We literally caught him off guard. Two months of bootcamp later, he had become part of the team. Three years later, he’s indispensable! ✨💻
He can tell you the history of Windows… but more importantly, he can solve complex technical problems, implement lasting solutions, and understand a client’s context like very few people can.
At Hilo, we believe that personality, determination, and cultural alignment matter more than a résumé. The bootcamp doesn’t replace a degree, but it can absolutely change a life, and turn a passionate person into an expert.
